Full Description
Unique and luxury villa 240 qm² to rent in Rodrigues, with magnificent View and only 8 minutes from the coast with private Pool, chimney, housemaid/cook. The villa is rented for 2 people + 2 people in a separate house on the same ground. Each house has a mezzanine, each for 2 children. The name say’s everything: Beautiful View and sunrise on the horizon; this is our new villa in Rodrigues, neighbour Island of Mauritius; It has a special effect on each visitor when you first see the villa; build in a typical style, fresh colours, luxurious furniture, quiet and cosy, made for nature lovers. You need only 8 minutes to get to the most beautiful beach of the Island. You will have to hire a car or motorbike. We rent the house for 2 people for maximum comfort; But 2 more people could also join you. Please read the description of the rooms carefully, as not all bedrooms have the same standard. There is a chimney which you can also use for barbecue and a private pool Please note: the villa has no specific security for children; They love the 3 mezzanines, but those can be a danger for young children. The pool is not secured and the terrace has no fencing. Children are most welcome under your own care and responsibility. Lorizon is located in 3 Soleils, 5- 10 minutes by car, from the beaches of Fumier, Gravier and St.Francois. The villa is surrounded by nature, guava and mango trees. The next neighbour is 300m away; The view is beautiful, it is calm. The next little shop is 5 minutes away by car and the next bigger village, Mont Lubin about 8 minutes. A housemaid and a gardener are at your service. She cooks and cleans the house, he organises fresh fish and lobster, boat tours and fishing in the lagoon. Rooms: 1) There is the main bedroom with a four poster bed 2 m x 1.80 m with view on the pool and chimney. Enjoy the sunrise from the bed (5:30 am!). In the same room is a Mezzanine with table and chairs, which serves as little office, (low internet through the phone line with your own laptop) Big bathroom with shower, wc, bidet and vestiaire en suite. 2) Over the entrance/kitchen/TV corner, there is a small mezzanine with a kingsize bed 2 m x 1.80 m.. Shower/WC. TV, DVD, HIFI/Radio/CD Player. 3) Separately in the same garden, about 20 meter next to the main house is a separate house for 2 people, which is made of 1 big room with a kingsize bed. As in the main house, there is a Mezzanine over the entrance/kitchen/TV corner, with Be aware that the different beddings do not have same standard and might not be appropriate for 3 couples. If you are 2 people (+ 2 children) the lower house will stay empty to ensure your comfort. We do have a baby cot. The drive is 200 meters long and can be very muddy slippery. We recommend a 4 x 4 or a Motorbike. We will be pleased to organize your airport transfers and arrange your car hire.

Nous avons passé 2 superbes semaines dans cette charmante demeure, insolite par son point de vue et le côtoiement en toute discrétion des habitants de l’île.
Les services “d’hôtellerie” compris dans le prix de location (ménage, diner du soir préparé, entretien habitat-jardin-piscine), effectués par Virgine et Mariano sont irréprochables!
Solution idéale pour profiter à 100% de l’atmosphère de Rodrigues!
Nous y reviendrons c’est certain.

Villa spacieuse, décorée avec goût et avec belle vue. L’équipement est complet. La villa est au calme (vous n’entendez que le vent). Le repas est préparé par Virginie en fonction de vos envies (à préciser la veille). Mariano s’occupe du jardin, de la piscine et des éventuels petits problèmes (comme une panne d’allumettes à 8h du soir …). Nous avons fait de la plongée au Bouba Diving Centre (hotel Mourouk) : les fonds sont couverts de coraux de toutes les couleurs et de gorgones et la faune est vraiment abondante.
L’accès à la villa se fait par un chemin en terre d’environ 200m : 2×4 surélevé indispensable (4×4 s’il pleut pour les 50 derniers mètres).
Nous reviendrons (mais pour un plus long séjour !).

We were in Villa Lorizon from 1.3. to 7.3 2010 and it was for us very nice place, Lorizon owner made this house very elegantly and there was for me home background. In house is maid Virginie. She is cooking cleaning and washing clothes and Marie clean swimming pool and reapre what we need.Lorizon is in the middle green vegetation and there is absolut quiet and relax. Rodrigues is island withou tourists, beaches are empty and see is very noce, diving in Rodrigues is cheep and under water are very nice corals garden. I recomend Rodrigues and Villa Lorizon for all tourists who dont like big hotels and tourist destination.

One week which I spend in Villa Lorizon was beautiful!!!
I enjoy very quiet place, with beautiful view to the countryside and ocean. Local people are very, very friendly and creole kitchen was delicious. I can recommend Villa Lorizon to everybody who wants to spend a nice and quiet vacation.
Spousta domorodců viděla Čecha poprvé v životě!!! Jo a terasa je perfektní na pařbu.

“Perfect – stunning house, lovely people, great location”
Villa Lorizon is one of those rare places that exceed expectations – a lovely house in a fabulous location, with great staff. We are a family of 5 and felt at home within 5 minutes of arriving.
The house is situated up in the hills, so you certainly need a car, and a 4×4 is essential – this is arranged by the owner for you and is not expensive.
Having Mariano deliver fresh fish daily was a huge treat!
We will certainly be coming back.
